This policy explains how personal data is handled in connection with llm-test.com (llm-test.com).
We operate several separate online services. This policy applies to the service you are currently using. Where a specific service processes data differently, that difference is described below.
1. Information we collect
When you visit the website. Your browser automatically sends technical data that our hosting provider records in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, and browser and operating system version. This is necessary to deliver the site and to detect and defend against attacks.
When you contact us. If you use a contact form or write to us by e-mail, we process the information you provide, typically your name, e-mail address and the content of your message, in order to answer you.
When you create an account. Where a service offers accounts, we process the data needed to provide it: name, e-mail address, authentication data, billing details where a paid plan is involved, and records of how you use the product.
Data you ask us to process on your behalf. Where a service analyses websites or data you supply, we process that material solely on your instructions, acting as a processor. We do not use it for our own purposes.
2. How we use your information, and the legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Delivering and securing the website | Legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Answering your enquiry | Pre-contractual steps or legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(b) / (f) |
| Providing an account and the service | Performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Billing and accounting | Contract and legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(b) / (c) |
| Marketing e-mail | Consent, Art. 6(1)(a) |
Our legitimate interests are operating a secure and functioning website, defending against misuse and attacks, and understanding in aggregate how our services are used.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you may object under Art. 21 GDPR.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We set only strictly necessary cookies without asking you first. Anything else, such as analytics, embedded media or marketing, is set only after you consent, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time through the cookie settings on this site.
4. How we share your information
We use external service providers who process personal data on our behalf, under data processing agreements and only on our instructions. They fall into the following categories:
- hosting and content delivery
- database and authentication
- transactional e-mail
- payment processing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. A current list of the specific providers we use is available on request (see Contact, below).
5. International data transfers
Some of our service providers are established outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Where that is the case, the transfer is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on an adequacy decision for the country concerned. You can request details of the safeguards in place by writing to us (see Contact, below).
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. In practice:
- server log files are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, then deleted
- enquiries are kept until the matter is closed
- account data is kept for the duration of the account
- invoices and accounting records are kept for the statutory retention period that applies to us
7. Your data protection rights
Under the GDPR and, where it applies, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- erasure (Art. 17)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- data portability (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
To exercise any of these, write to us (see Contact, below). We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU/EEA it is the authority in the country where you live or work.
8. Is providing data mandatory?
You are not legally obliged to provide personal data. However, some data is necessary to use parts of the service: without an e-mail address we cannot create an account or reply to an enquiry.
9. Automated decision-making
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
10. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page, and the date at the end of the page shows when it was last changed.
11. Who is responsible, and contact
The controller responsible for processing your personal data, and the person to contact with any questions about this policy or your data, is:
Michael Jaroszewski
Steigstrasse 11
